Just under the wire!

I better post this before the new year! Heehee! Hope everyone has a wonderful and prosperous 2009. I'm looking forward to it. It's suppose to be the year of change according to my birthday horoscope this year. 2008 wasn't all that bad but it wasn't the greatest either. So hopefully 2009 will be a year to remember. Ok, gotta go.

Where did November go?

My once a month post...heehee... well, it's been a busy one, that's for sure. I've had every weekend booked with something. First weekend of November, I spent it celebrating this little guy's first birthday:


It seems like it was just yesterday when I met the little guy when he was three weeks old....hmm...has it really been a year? I guess it really has since my scrapbooking friends celebrated my birthday yesterday... We're celebrating early cuz my birthday just happens to be around one of the busiest times of the year. Anyhow, the ladies got me lots of good stuff. Love them! A bunch of fun and creative ladies to hang out with.

In other news, I got pre-approved for a mortgage. Now I just gotta wait a little bit to see if I can get a townhouse in a community that I've been eyeing for years now...

I was doing flips and cartwheels in my head because I was at work. I really had bite my tongue contain the excitement... I think my co-worker would have thought I was really looney or something...

Friday, September 12, this young lady turned 6! I can't believe she's 6! My how time flies! Emilie had celebrated her birthday with her friends at a place called Gymnastic Beat where they got to jump on trampolines, climb, swing on a rope, do the balance beam, flips and tumbles, etc. She hasn't quite figured out how to do the cartwheel yet but I think with a bit of practice, I think she'll get it. Heehee. This year instead of dance and gymnastics though, she is doing some cheering for the Madera Raptors...what's funny is the kicks get lower and lower towards the end of the game.

it's August... time is just flying by... and I am just struggling to catch up...but I'm going to do my darndest to post before July ends. Hehehe... so what to post about? Not much is going on in my life...just work. A few weeks ago I caught 2 Fast 2 Furious on tv. I've decided that Paul Walker is some yummy eye candy...well, I found a picture but don't know if I'm allowed to post it... oh well, just google him. :)

Ooops....

I missed posting in May... and about to miss June too! Unfortunately there isn't much in my life to blog about. I've been mainly just working so really, it's nothing to really blog about. I haven't really had time to go see Emilie, Chloe or Samuel. In fact, I missed Emilie's dance recital this year. Her mom was also performing too...she signed up for the adult hula class. :) But I missed the phone call for tickets to the show. Oh well... Just as well...esp with gas prices going up these days. So I am going to go see them in September when Emilie has her 6th birthday party... Wow! She's going to be six.... where oh where has the time gone?

Can't believe we're already at the tail end of April... and the last time I blogged was a month ago... Well, it's been a fairly busy month. I just got back from Florida this past week. My first trip to Florida! Yay! Had a lot of fun. Went for a wedding in Daytona Beach and then headed back to Orlando and spent a couple days at Walt Disney World. Had a ball spending time with my college roommates...it's been too long! Anyhow, here's a picture of the bride and groom.

Baptized

This little man got baptized on Saturday, March 15th. It was the quickest baptisms I've gone to. Mom chose a new church this time...well, the one that the girls got baptized at was having a baptism too....in Spanish. Anyhow, we were all a little surprised at how quickly it all went. Since we had time afterwards, little Sam got pictures with practically everyone. And he was so good about it. His sister, Chloe, on the other hand, was having a melt down...

Miss. I too is two years old today! Mommy says she doesn't really say "I too" anymore. :( Poor baby girl is sick on her birthday. Mommy says she has a fever. Hope she recovers fast. I got her Tickle Me Elmo because mommy thought she would love it...well, turns out, she's scared of it...especially when it started to shake. Oh dear! Anyhow, Happy Birthday Baby Girl!

Resolution?

Once again, it's the new year. And every year I try to make resolutions but I never stick to them. Already 8 days in and I have fallen off the bandwagon more then once. Oy! And every year my resolutions remain the same since nothing has changed. I probably need to rethink how I think about resolutions and just do it. So here goes:

1. Exercise more...make more use out of my gym membership and lose this darn weight already!

2. Clean and organize. A on going battle! How did I manage to pick up such bad habits in college?

3. Spend less money on stuff... do not need all that scrapbooking stuff! I got enough to last me a life time and then some.

4. Save money to put towards a townhouse or something. My own place! Won't that be cool?

5. Work on being a better me. Learn more. Maybe go back to school? Maybe consider a new job?

6. Learn my camera more. Take it out of auto mode and learn how to use the many functions.

7. Maybe try online dating? Prince Charming isn't going to come knocking on my door if I don't be more proactive about it.

Here's to 2008...hopefully the year of changes and all that good stuff.
