She is such an inspirational scrapbooker! Love her and her stuff...and Bazzill too. Totally had the best time. Definitely saving up for next year. My roomies from CKU-Anaheim and my group of friends from Scrapbook U have all decided we're all going to try and do it again next year. That's how good it was. It was so much better then CKU and I wasn't the only one who felt this way. I just wish I had more pictures to share but my camera was being a butt and a lot of pictures came out way dark and some fuzzy. Anyhow, I'm going to go to bed. I haven't had much sleep these past few days and I gotta work tomorrow.

Happy 4th birthday Rug Rat!

Four years ago on this day my goddaughter, Emilie Elizabeth, came into the world at 12:20 am. I didn't get any recent pics of her the last time I visited... this was taken in March when I went to meet her sister Chloe and of course, Miss Em just had to stick her head up just as her mom snapped the shot! Anyhow, Miss Em wants a guitar for her birthday so I was going to try and look for a princess guitar for her but Disney doesn't have one. They only had a piano. So I think I'll have to get a real one at Target...unless her parents beat me to it and got it for her. I also need to find a pink gymnastic outfit for her. I found one at Target but it's red and pink. Maybe she'll go for it. Think she'll look "sexy"? Yep, that little girl used that word! During the heat wave last month, the AC broke so they went to get a new one. Since they were at the mall, mom decided to pick out a few outfits for Em since pre-school was going to start soon. It was then she informed her mom that she needed to try on the clothes. Her mom said, "What for? I know they fit you." And her response was "I need to see if I look sexy". My friend literally had a double take and said, "What did you just say?" Oh, the things that come out of her mouth! I think mom and dad better save up...she's going to be a very expensive child. She told her parents she's going to be on tv too. LOL. Anyhow, happy birthday to you my fashion princess. Hope you get lots of toys! And you're a rug rat even though you don't think you are.
OK, on to other things...had the most fabulous scrapbooking week at Creative Escape! So loved it! Except for this one old lady who kept cutting in line. There's always one rotten apple right? I mean, I can understand if your friends save you a spot in line but she didn't and even though she was told there was a line, she still did it is just plain rude in my book. I still need to take pictures of all my goodies but for now I'll share this...ok, in another post. I can't seem to get the picture to go where I want it to go...hrmph!

Somehow
Somehow we're into September. How time flies. Why is it that it goes so fast now but as a child, time seem to stand still?
Next week some friends and I are off for some fun in Phoenix, Arizona. I'll be meeting up with some other friends too. It's going to be fun!
I think that's about it for now. I don't have too much else to share since my life is kinda boring. But I do have to say, lots of interesting news these past few weeks... John Karr confessing to a crime he didn't commit, the arrest of the polygamist, Warren Jeffs, a Fremont man who goes on a driving rampage and killing a man in the process. Makes me wonder if I should even go back to school to study more Psychology...
