It's my buddy Veronica's 60th birthday! But the woman doesn't even look like she's 60! A group of us will be celebrating her and another buddy Ruth's 60th birthday next week. We're scrapbooking. Yep, that's what brought us together in the first place. It's gonna be fun!
I tried fixing my banner again last night and I'm not sure if I changed things and mess things up on my blog. Every time I look at it after making changes, it looks the same to me. So not sure if my computer just held on to old settings or not. Oy! Just saw the difference... banner is gone. Oh well. I guess I'll have to play with it some more and try and learn this web posting thing.

Fortune teller
About 5 years ago (I think), my friend Nha and I were in Japantown waiting for some other friends for dinner. As we waited, my friend Nha decided that she was going to have her fortune told by this old Japanese woman for $20. So as I listened, I decided I would too. When it was my turn, this fortune teller told me to end my relationship with my now ex, Andy, because he was wishy washy. At the time, I was (should I say) in love with this guy and could not believe what she said. I was determined to make this relationship work but unfortunately, a couple years later, we did separate. He dumped me. Gave me some lame excuse about freeing me and not tying me down because he couldn't decide on marriage or not. All in all, there was another girl waiting in the woods, so to speak. I was devastated and very heartbroken. Even today, I'm still a bit hurt by it all. Anyhow, in my reading, she also mentioned something about marriage when I turn 32. A couple friends and my aunt (who knew she could read palms?) who looked at my palm all said that I was going to get married in my early 30s. So, ok, now that I'm almost 32....I'm just wondering...is this Prince ever gonna come and sweep me off my feet?
