Once a month post

I can't believe June is coming to an end. It's been a tough month this year. We had layoffs on June 10th...we knew lay offs were looming but the outcome was a bit of a surprise. My friends at the Math Library got laid off. I have gotten to be pretty close friends with them the past couple years, especially Courtney. Today I took her clothes shopping for future interviews. Hopefully she will find something soon in this sad job market. So while my friends got laid off, my job changed too... I got moved from full time at my library to now half time and half time at the Math library. I'm not sure I like this at all. At times I feel my boss and I have been moved there to clean things up cuz that library is a bit um...stuffed... The librarian at Math is a major pack rat! I thought I was...but man, at least I don't take it to the work place! Anyhow, we're still learning things at the Math library and that will probably take some time. I just hope I survive it....
